If you know the proverb "You'll never have a second chance to make a first impression", there is no need to explain the importance of the very first lesson.
We, Olga Vaganova and Lubov Okulova, invite you to our workshop on August 24.
Our meeting will be a place to exchange ideas, get inspired and ready for a new school year!
1st hour. The very first lesson
What activities to choose for the first lesson with a new group or individual student? How to break the ice and make everybody feel comfortable with yet unknown people?
Together we will discuss these questions and various activities that are suitable for the first lesson. Also Olga Vaganova will present a networking board game "Circle of Friends", which aims at letting people get to know each other in a fast and amusing way.
2nd hour. Back to school
Summer is long and your students need some help in transitioning from "a relaxed mode" to a ready-to-learn one. There are some peculiarities in planning the first lesson for people who know you and each other quite well.
At the workshop you'll get a set of practical engaging activities to help you get your students "back to school".
Is it the right thing for you?
